Eddoes Choka Recipe

So it's about time I tell you all about how to make eddoes choka.

Ingredients:
2 kg eddoes (one pound, or 5-8 eddoes)
Salt
Pepper
Onion
Garlic

Directions:
1. Wash and peel the eddoes
2. Boil for 20 minutes (or until soft) with water covering the top of the eddoes
3. Drain the water and put the eddoes in a bowl. Use a pestle(or fork) to crush the eddoes into a smooth paste.
4. Add salt, pepper, onion and garlic to your liking.

This goes best with sada roti and serves 2-3 people.

  1. This is really easy...too bad I don't like eddoes...but it works well for potatoes too (Aloo Choka)

    Good to hear you can "technically" cook, lol.
