This is a collection of stories of things that I experience, use, collect, review or just feel to talk about here in Trinidad or other places I visit. If you like what you see please comment or share it with others.
I sat and listened to a sermon here in January. The temple itself is an impressive piece of architecture. One thing ruined my mood though. On the walk to the temple through it's immense garden grounds, there were a few stray dogs just lying peacefully asleep in the grass. So peaceful I wondered if they had found the zen the temple's congregation sought. Then up walked a man with a big stick....
I stood there glaring at the man as the dog limped away uttering the most excruciating yelps I have ever heard. This man should be mauled by 100 dogs in return.
Other than the intolerance and ignorance of the ground keepers, this temple is beautiful
Lotus Temple is gorgeous..on my bucket list...if you ever get a chance, visit a Swaminarayan temple..there are a few in the USA and in Toronto...on my bucket list as well...
