Records are set which are continuously broken,
Limits are set which cannot be broken,
What happens when the record reaches the limit?
That's where I come in
This is a collection of stories of things that I experience, use, collect, review or just feel to talk about here in Trinidad or other places I visit. If you like what you see please comment or share it with others.

Solid line over dashed line on power adapters
I have to figure out the output rating on different adapters and was depending on the written values, but some of them have symbols instead and I did not know what two parallel lines, one solid, one broken meant. It means DC voltage, and a horizontal S curve is AC.
Here is a pdf with a lot of more info, note the list of symbols on page 36.

Shooting star
I saw a shooting star last night over my house. It was really bright and fast, one of the rare ones you get to see with city lights close by. Now to see if my wish comes true :-)
